Is your house or yard too small to host a function?

We can accommodate any size get together from 10-350 people. Our spacious centre is available to rent for all your entertaining needs: Socials, Weddings, Wedding Showers, Baby Showers, Meetings, Birthday Parties, Fundraisers, Company Christmas Parties, Family Gatherings, Sports Wind Ups, etc.

About HVCC

The capacity of the Main Hall is 264 people and combined with the Common Side is 350 People. There is also a large accessible parking lot located on site.

Our hall is perfect to fulfill all your needs in one place; there is a kitchen area with roll-top window access to the main area and a separate bar. It has all the amenities you require: fridges, sinks, 30 cup Coffee Urn.

We can also provide Canisters of Drink Mix, 12 Kg bags of Ice, Beer cups and Drink cups to be invoiced on the night of the event based on usage.

Rental Types

1. Socials/Company Parties

  • Acceptable forms of payment: cash/interac/Visa or Mastercard
  • A damage deposit cheque dated the day of the event is to be left when the initial deposit is made for the rental. Remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the event

    Hall Rental Includes:

  • Two (2) Bartender and one (1) Supervisor (mandatory)
  • Set up and take down of all tables and chairs
  • Tthird Bartender can be provided for an additional charge – recommended if you are having a large function

2. Weddings

  • Recommended maximum capacity for a dinner and dance reception is 180 people. Exceeding this number reduces the dance floor and hinders serving personnel
  • Acceptable forms of payment: cash/interac/Visa or Mastercard.
  • A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking (holds your date).
  • Damage Deposit is required on the night of the event (refunded after 7 days and a complete club inspection & approval of condition of facilities)
  • Remaining balance to be paid on the night of the event

3. Other Events

Can alcohol be served at our event?
Yes, alcohol can be served at your event if a liquor license is obtained from the Manitoba Liquor Commission. A copy of your approved license must be provided to the centre and be displayed at the event. Click on the link below to find out what type of permit you require for your event.

Who is responsible for set up and take down?

This is included in your rental fee and the HVCC staff will set-up tables and chairs beforehand as well as tear down when the event is finished. It is the responsibility of the reserving party to provide and decorate their event. This includes decorations and table clothes if needed.

Is there parking?

The is ample parking for your event. Accessible stalls are marked next to the club.

What Furniture/equipment is available?

Based on availability, we can provide at no additional cost: up to (TBD)# of rectangular tables and (TBD)# of chairs.

When can I gain room access on the day of the event?

When do I get my damage deposit back?
