HVCC provides an opportunity for children between the ages of 5 and 15 of all skill types to develop their hockey skills and more importantly, have fun doing it.

2016 – 2017 Hockey Registrations

Registrations will open July 15, 2016

In 2016 Every person MUST register ONLINE including people who require a subsidy, before they can attend a walk-in session to apply for their GCWCC application.

Anyone registering after August 31, 2016 may be subject to a $20.00 late registration fee & may miss tryouts.

Anyone who requires a subsidy application will be sent a letter and MUST register online before they can attend a walk-in session to apply for their GCWCC subsidy application

Minor Hockey registration can be done online through the St. James-Assiniboia Minor Hockey Association  Registration System at http://www.sjamha.ca/.

Please Note: One parent must take the Parent Respect in Sport program PRIOR to registering your child for hockey (if already taken, you do not need to take again). Visit https://hmbparent.respectgroupinc.com/secure/.

Since the Parent RIS information is not tied into the Hockey Canada registration system, you will be required to create an additional account and password with Hockey Canada to complete the Registration

Is your child between the ages of 6 and 10 years old, has NEVER registered for hockey before and wants to try it? Then Check out this program “THE FIRST SHIFT“!

The “First Shift” is a very elaborate and well designed program that was created through a joint effort between Bauer and Hockey Canada.  The highlights of the program are:

  • Open to ALL NEW players between 6 and 10 years old
  • Players must never have registered for hockey in previous years
  • Parents only pay $199 and their child gets ALL NEW equipment – From Bauer,
  • 6 x 1 hour ice time sessions with trained on ice coaches
